Product queries
We don’t use any paraffin in our candles. They are 100% natural. The wax is a custom blend of pure rapeseed and coconut and the fragrance comes from essential oils only.
Our wicks are an unbleached cotton material with a paper core. They are completely lead free for a clean burn.
The best way to get the most burn hours is to trim the wick before each lighting of the candle. However this doesn’t need to be done on the first burn of the candle. Make sure to burn the first time for between 3-4 hours (until the molten wax reaches the edges of the jar). The wick should be trimmed to between 0.5 and 1cm in height.
Once your candle reaches about 1cm of remaining wax, it is time to discontinue use.
We strongly recommend you to up-cycle your glass. To get the last bit of wax out of the jar a helpful tip is to place the jar in the oven on a low heat for a few minutes. The wax will melt and can be easily poured out and disposed of. Another way to do this is to place the jar in the freezer for 24 hours, the wax will then easily pop out with a good knock on the base of the jar. Clean any small leftover wax residue with light soap and water.
All of our candle scents can be purchased in tealight form for just £1 each. These will burn for around 6 hours.
All our candles are hand poured by us in our London studio.
We spent a lot of time experimenting and tweaking our formulation to get the strength of the aroma just right. Our candles are 100% natural and contain no synthetic scent boosters. The aroma is therefore more subtle and won’t overpower a room.
Ordering

If you need to change your shipping address please contact us as quickly as possible at hello@naandethic.com. Let us know your order number and correct shipping address. We will make sure that we update this as timely as possible but unfortunately can’t be held liable for incorrectly entered shipping addresses.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to edit orders once they are placed. We would need to cancel and ask you to replace the order. Email us at hello@naandethic.com if that is the case.
You sure can! Simply leave a message in the ‘add a note’ section of the cart and we will include a handwritten note with your candle. Our deliveries don’t contain any type of paper receipt or pricing indication.
Fulfillment
Our processing times average between 1-2 business days, and up to 3 during any holiday period. Once an order is ready to ship, confirmation emails containing tracking information are immediately sent. We ask to allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update.
We currently despatch all of our orders out of our London studio, based in Islington.
Shipping
If you choose standard delivery at checkout then typically the order will be delivered within 4 days after the order has been processed. For express delivery this is usually within 2 days.
If you haven’t received your parcel after 1 week of ordering then please contact us at hello@naandethic.com.
Some carriers prematurely mark a package delivered, or make the mistake by dropping it off at a neighbour or across the street. Most times carriers need about 48 hours to fix their mistake. We ask to allow sometime for the package to possibly show up late, despite the information on the tracking page. If more than 1 week goes by, please email us at hello@naandehithic.com and we will help you out from there.
Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to make an exchange or return. All items must be in an unused condition. Please email us at hello@naandethic.com to receive instructions on how your item can be returned/exchanged.
Yes we do! We will cover the cost of returning your item to us.
Damages or missing items
Unfortunately sometimes this can happen as couriers can handle the boxes a little too roughly! Please email us at hello@naandethic.com with photos of the broken merchanise and we will issue a replacement free of charge.
